Frequently asked questions
Why does my product schema need both price and priceCurrency?
Google requires both the numeric price and the standard 3-letter ISO 4217 currency code (such as USD, GBP, or EUR) inside the Offer block to prevent ambiguous pricing displays across international search regions.
Can I use AggregateRating without having individual customer reviews?
Yes. Google allows standalone AggregateRating on Product schema as long as ratingValue, reviewCount (or ratingCount), bestRating, and worstRating are provided and correspond to genuine on-page customer feedback.
Where should I paste the generated JSON-LD on my website?
Paste the `<script type="application/ld+json">` snippet directly inside the `<head>` section or right before the closing `</body>` tag of your product page, or inject it dynamically in Next.js via Metadata or script tags.
What is the difference between SKU and MPN?
SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) is your internal inventory tracking number, whereas MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) is the global identifier assigned by the original manufacturer. Both help search engines disambiguate your product.
